ELEVATEX | Development & Roadmap Update

We've recently updated our roadmap for the remainder of this year. As you may have noticed, a large number of planned features have been moved to next year. This year has been exceptionally busy for us. From organizing FSExpo and preparing everything operationally, to completing the app rewrite earlier in the year and implementing significant authentication improvements, we've taken on a substantial amount of work.

In hindsight, we overextended ourselves and were unable to accomplish as much as we had originally planned. This has been largely due to several team members having additional commitments outside of the project, combined with a development team consisting of only one to three people at any given time.

We sincerely apologize for setting expectations that we ultimately could not meet, both for ourselves and for the community. We understand the excitement surrounding the upcoming features and recognize that delays can be frustrating, especially for those who have been patiently waiting.

Virtual Airlines

We significantly underestimated the scope and workload involved in developing the Virtual Airlines feature. Our original goal was to have a build ready for QA by the end of August. Unfortunately, due to the limited number of developers available to work on such a large and complex feature, development has not progressed as quickly as we had hoped.

We understand that this delay is disappointing for those eagerly anticipating the release, and we want you to know that we hear your concerns. We apologize for the additional wait. That said, our priority has always been quality over quantity. Rather than rushing the feature to meet an arbitrary deadline, we want to take the time necessary to ensure Virtual Airlines is stable, polished, and delivers an experience that is genuinely worth the wait.

We are still targeting the release of Virtual Airlines, as well as the iOS and Android applications, before the end of this year. As soon as we have more concrete information to share, you will be among the first to know.

Partnerships & Integrations

While attending FSExpo, we also had the opportunity to speak with Katie from efbX and Matt from Tailstrike. We are currently having ongoing discussions regarding potential integrations and partnerships with both.

There is nothing further we can announce at this time, but we're excited about the possibilities and look forward to sharing more once we have something concrete to announce.
